Because every illustration tells a story….
Her name is Madison…..
An artist and photographer, she lives in the Meatpacking District near the High Line on Manhattan’s West Side where she manages an Art Gallery while she builds her own portfolio and dreams of a one woman show! She is especially intrigued by the stark imagery of the remnants of the freight rail line elevated above the streets of her neighborhood…….Her stunning photographs feature the towering industrial rails juxtaposed against the colorful artistic community which has gentrified the area between 10th and 12th avenues…..True to form, Madison favors bold prints and strong grays like this pairing from Trina Turk…
Her creed: “A world which sees art and engineering as divided is not seeing the world as a whole.” Professor Sir Edmund Happold
